I simply don't have time to do anything but make sure everything is spelled correctly! It's been one whirlwind of a month for yours truly, and I can brush up on those things later, but for now, let's talk about what's going on with the Atlanta Burlesque and Cabaret Club!
There's a lot to go over, as you may have noticed, the meetups have moved back to Manuel's Tavern, just in the nick of time apparently because Wednesdays have been taken by Melton's App & Tap and Manuel's was more than happy to accommodate us indefinitely so I am pleased as punch with our new home!
A quick overview of the events were:
May 7th and 8th The Art-B-Que
May 9th meeting for Southern Fried Burlesque Fest at Melton's App and Tap
Auditions for Gypsy at the Lyric Theatre: See AB&C's wall for Details, I believe Page posted it.
May 14th- Mon Cherie's Rockabilly Lounge and Burlesque Legend Benefit for Camille 2000 at the Masquerade
May 14th- Mad Hatter's Haflah at Dune Lounge in Marietta
May 17th APG Reunion at Elliot Street Pub:
May 21st- Arabian Nights at Bart Webb Studios - Details TBA
May 21st- Taboo-lah-lah presents: "Faster Pussy Cat Kill Kill" at the Plaza
May 27th - Mon Cherie's Black Light Burlesque Show at The Shelter
